RIM移动支付平台SEM获Visa认可
北京时间1月16晚间消息，RIM周三宣布，旗下移动支付解决方案Secure Element Manager(以下简称“SEM”)已经得到了Visa的认可。
SEM技术可用于管理所有支持NFC(近场通信)功能的移动设备，RIM表示，得到Visa的认可将进一步强化RIM在全球移动支付解决方案领域作为核心安全合作伙伴的作用。
RIM负责移动支付业务的高级主管弗兰克·麦杜瑞(Frank Maduri)称：“RIM SEM解决方案得到Visa认可的意义重大，这将允许运营商来支持Visa发卡银行和金融机构。当前，我们为运营商提供一套强大的解决方案，可支持任何NFC设备上，并满足Visa严格的技术和可用性要求。”
RIM黑莓服务以高安全性著称，被全球军事机构、执法部门和商家所采用。业内人士称，目前RIM希望利用其声誉和即将发布的黑莓10平台从苹果和Android手机厂商手中重新夺回失去的市场份额。
